A DRUMacus will make you play drums and percussion in ways you may never have thought of before...

Imagine all the drum patterns ever written with their variations and styles.  Think how big a book would be to contain them all.  Think how difficult it would be to search that book for patterns to experiment with.  Think no more!  The DRUMacus has all of these drum patterns and variations in a simple device that is quick and easy to use.  You don't need a computer to run it or batteries to power it so you can take it anywhere and use it anywhere.

An experienced drum teacher left the following feedback after recently buying a DRUMacus... "I have been using the DRUMcus in schools this week for teaching and have to say it is absolutely brilliant - particularly for explaining time subdivisions and counting etc. Best £20 I have spent in ages!!!!!  All my pupils seem to really enjoy using it and it has made my life so much easier when teaching. It certainly gets my seal of approval!!!! - Duncan Rose".

What is a DRUMacus?

The DRUMacus is a teaching aid that has been developed over the last year. It is totally unique and offers drum teachers and pupils a simple, fast and effective way of displaying drum patterns and then creating endless variations of them.

The DRUMacus is a matrix of cubes set within a frame that can be rotated individually.  Every cube has symbols printed on it to represent the various instruments of a drum kit.  You rotate the cubes to produce drum patterns and drum fills.  Click on the models below to find out more:

The DRUMacus-X is bigger than and laid out differently to other DRUMacus products to facilitate the complex beats that it can produce. It is recommended that you have a good level of understanding of counting and drum music to maximise the vast potential of the DRUMacus-X.

DRUMacus Clamp

There is an optional clamp that you can purchase to fix your DRUMacus to a drum kit.  The DRUMacus has two fixing points for the clamp which gives great flexibility to its preferred location.

The recommended attachment point for the DRUMacus is the Hi-hat stand below the Hi-hat cymbals.  This lets you play the Hi-hats, but also view the DRUMacus clearly and easily adjust it. Your DRUMacus user manual has a section detailing the optional clamp and how to use it.
